Turkish cotton is like a fine wine; it actually gets better (and softer!) with time. Follow these simple steps to keep your blanket soft and luxurious for years to come.

• The Pre-Departure Shake: Before you leave the beach or the park, give your OZoola a vigorous snap. Our flat-weave design is naturally sand-resistant, so a quick flick ensures the beach stays at the beach and doesn’t follow you into the car.
• The Gentle Cycle Setup: When it's time for a refresh, toss your blanket in a cold or lukewarm machine wash (max 30°C). Use a gentle setting to keep those long cotton fibers happy and prevents any unwanted shrinkage.
• Ditch the Softener (Seriously!): It sounds counterintuitive, but skip the fabric softener. It actually coats the fibers in a waxy layer that reduces absorbency. For a natural boost, use a mild, eco-friendly detergent.
• Hang Loose & Air Dry: Skip the high heat of the dryer, which can make the cotton feel crunchy. Instead, hang your blanket to air dry in the shade. If you’re in a rush, a quick, low-heat tumble dry is okay—but nothing beats a fresh breeze.
• The "Better with Age" Rule: Believe the rumors, Turkish blankets really do get softer and more absorbent after every single wash. It takes about 2–3 cycles for the fibers to fully "open up," so don't be afraid to put them to work!

Skip the Iron: Your OZoola is designed for a relaxed, lived-in look. The natural crinkles are part of the charm, so feel free to hide the iron in the back of the cupboard. You’ve got better things to do!
